ICS Copper Systems Ltd is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V: ICX) and aspires to develop into being a major African mining company centered on the Central African Copperbelt. ICS holds an option agreement to acquire up to 80% of the Mokambo Copper mine in Zambia. The company’s strategy is to delineate the potential oxide cap of the Mokambo mine and is presently conducting a 10300 meter drilling program. Once a resource has been quantified the company plans to process it and to then move onto mining the larger underlying sulphide deposit. The Mokambo mine is host to the famous Mufulira Syncline. ICS also has an option agreement to acquire 76% of the Musoshi Tailings in DRC and has a 77% position in a joint venture agreement to develop the “Skania gold” properties in the DRC pedicle under PR 599 and PR 600. ICS has a 73.5% interest in a joint venture agreement to explore the Bayombwe concession under PR 7248 as well as the rights to prospect in other areas in the DRC. Significant infrastructural on site development has taken place.
